Story Republic of China/Minguo era ke time ki hai, jahan normal duniya ke peeche ek mysterious world chhupa hua hai—民俗 (folk traditions), strange creatures, supernatural powers aur treasure-hunting techniques ka world. Is duniya mein “Biebao” (憋宝) naam ki ek rare aur mysterious technique hoti hai, jiske through practitioners hidden heavenly treasures aur supernatural objects ko identify aur obtain kar sakte hain {golden curse hindi sub}
Is kahani ka protagonist hai Dou Zhanlong, ek skilled Biebao treasure hunter. Woh apne black donkey ke saath alag-alag jagahon par ghoomta hai aur rare treasures ki talaash karta hai. Lekin Dou Zhanlong ki life sirf treasure hunting tak limited nahi hai. Uske past mein family revenge, mysterious enemies aur ek bahut dangerous destiny judi hui hai. Dheere-dheere woh Jianghu ke conflicts aur supernatural incidents ke beech phansne lagta hai.
Lekin Dou Zhanlong ke janam ke peeche ek aur bhi bada secret hai.
Bahut pehle Cui Laodao, ek mysterious Taoist, Heavenly Book ko study karte waqt galti se ek legendary Three-Legged Golden Toad (聚宝金蟾) ko release kar deta hai. Ye ordinary golden toad nahi hai—ye ek supernatural existence hai jo human world ki prosperity aur riches se attract ho jata hai. Baad mein ye human form mein reincarnate hota hai, aur wahi existence aage chal kar Dou Zhanlong se connected ho jata hai.
Problem ye hai ki Golden Toad ko Heavenly Tribulation ka saamna karna padta hai. Apni jaan bachane ke liye woh Dou Zhanlong ke spiritual core mein apni three souls aur seven spirits ko divide kar deta hai. Is process se nine different incarnations/split versions of Dou Zhanlong create ho jaate hain, jo alag-alag locations aur parallel worlds mein exist karte hain.ai cultivation ka. Phir bhi, woh apni intelligence, hard work aur determination se dheere dheere powerful banta hai.
Aur yahin se story ka sabse interesting part start hota hai—Dou Zhanlong ki journey normal adventure nahi, balki “Nine Deaths and Thirteen Calamities” wali destiny ban jaati hai. Ek version ki death ke baad doosra incarnation uski jagah aata hai. Har incarnation ko apne alag dangers, enemies aur supernatural mysteries ka saamna karna padta hai.
Meanwhile, Jianghu mein good aur evil forces ke beech conflict badhta ja raha hai. Dou Zhanlong ki treasure-hunting ability usse aise secrets tak le jaati hai jo normal logon ki understanding se bahar hain. Ancient treasures, strange creatures, folk magic aur hidden factions ke saath-saath uski personal vendetta bhi story ka major part ban jaati hai.
Jaise-jaise Dou Zhanlong apne past aur apni strange destiny ke closer jaata hai, usse realise hota hai ki uski life ke incidents random nahi hain. Uska janam, Golden Toad, uski supernatural ability, uske enemies aur “Nine Deaths and Thirteen Calamities”—sab ek much larger mystery se connected hain.
Ab Dou Zhanlong ke saamne sirf treasure dhoondhne ya enemies ko defeat karne ka goal nahi hai. Usse apni destiny ko todna, apne family ke revenge ka sach jaana aur ye samajhna hai ki uske saath ho rahi supernatural events ke peeche asli mastermind ya force kaun hai.
Overall, Golden Curse ek normal cultivation donghua nahi hai. Isme Chinese folk horror + treasure hunting + martial arts/Jianghu + mystery + supernatural creatures + revenge ka combination hai.
